- Give them space. In fact, 20 states have laws that require drivers to give bike riders at least three feet of space on the roadway.
- Avoid distracted driving. This is one of the most common reasons for filing any type of car insurance claim. As a distracted driver, you may miss key opportunities to keep others safe on the road.
